Nike’s new colorways of the classic Air Max 1 continue to stack up at an rapid pace, with new styles surfacing weekly. Today, we have an early look at a new ‘Volt’ pair, coming soon.
The Air Max 1 is arriving in a wide range of colorways throughout 2023, with plenty of special-edition pairs and standard-issue colorways for everyone. The retro running model was celebrated by Nike for its thirty-fifth anniversary last year, and has seen a large uptick in releases since then. This week, a bright new ‘Volt’ color scheme has emerged, and is currently expected to release this Summer. The new look features the shoe’s classic color blocking, with a white mesh base and grey midfoot layers. The signature Volt green color is applied to the mudguards, Swooshes, and outsoles to complete the look.

Nike’s eye-catching ‘Volt’ colorway of the classic Air Max 1 has not been announced for release, though we are expecting to see them arrive sometime this season. Seen here in the shoe’s GS sizing, they will hopefully also come in adult sizes, releasing from the Swoosh website as well as select retailers for $150.
