Nike Air Max 1 returned once again last year, celebrating its thirty-fifth anniversary with a number of special releases. Now, the Swoosh has more in-line colors in store, including this classic ‘Triple Black’ look.
Releases of Nike’s classic Air Max 1 have been slowly heating up over the past year, with plenty of special-edition drops and retro colorways for the shoe’s anniversary celebration last year. Now, it appears the Swoosh is gearing up to bring back the retro runner in plenty of new colorways to beef up their in-line offerings. This week, we got our first look at a ‘Triple Black’ iteration of the silhouette, coming sometime in the near future. While images currently only show the preschool sizing, this pair features the usual mesh and soft suede upper, with some interesting details added. The Swoosh comes in a shiny black leather, while black twill tongue tags complete the look.

Nike’s next batch of in-line colorways for the classic Air Max 1 have not been announced for release, though we expect to see them land sometime in Spring 2023. Seen here in preschool sizing, the ‘Triple Black’ pair will be available via the SNKRS app and select retailers for the usual $150.
