The Nike Air Max 1 is stacking up releases throughout 2023, refreshing the retro runner with plenty of new styles. Among them is a ‘Rustic Brown’ look, which sports the brand’s early 2000s branding.
The Air Max 1 has made a strong return in the last two years, celebrating another milestone with its thirty-fifth anniversary in 2022. Recently, we saw the reconstructed ‘Big Bubble‘ pair release, which brought back the original tooling of the shoe for the first time ever. Now, more new styles continue to surface online, including this ‘Rustic Brown’ look that emerged earlier today. This look makes some slight changes to the retro runner, starting with a white canvas base layer for the upper. Lush brown suede makes up the shoe’s mudguard with matching Swooshes in leather, while hints of yellow appear on the outsole and upper eyelets. The branding on the tongues and heels have been swapped out for Nike’s early-2000s branding, a sleek and angular logo to give the shoe an older look.
NIKE AIR MAX 1 ‘RUGGED ORANGE’ RELEASE INFORMATION
Nike’s latest pair of the Air Max 1 to surface has not been officially scheduled to release, though we expect to see them land in stores sometime in 2023. Decorated in ‘Rustic Brown’ with yellow accents, pairs will likely be available from both the SNKRS app and select retailers, with the usual price tag of $160.
