Nike has been laser-focused on their Air Max 1 releases over the past year, releasing classic special colorways alongside exciting new styles. This week, a ‘Rainbow’ pair with plenty of interesting materials surfaced, coming soon.
The Air Max 1 has seen a massive bump in releases over the last year, which started as Nike’s thirty-fifth anniversary celebration for the original AM sneaker. Since then, we’ve seen plenty of new releases as well as reissues of classic limited-edition models, with plenty more on the way. Today, we got our first look at a new ‘Rainbow’ style for women, which pits the shoe in a range of colors and materials. The look begins with a floral pattern jacquard textile for the toe box, adding light blue corduroy for the shoe’s mudguard. The rest of the main panels come in pastel shades of green, pink, and yellow, hiding a cheetah print material that makes up the base of the heels. Lime green laces hold it all together, while black Swooshes and aged yellow midsoles complete the look.

Nike’s latest style of the classic Air Max 1 for women has been announced for an April 2023 release. The colorful ‘Rainbow’ style features a variety of materials and will likely release via both the SNKRS app and select retailers for $150.
