Nike’s N7 returns for 2018. The collection celebrates Native American heritage, while also contributing to worthy causes with a donation of each shoe’s proceeds. This year, the collection includes the famed Air Max 1 in a smooth blue colorway.
Nike’s N7 collection is one of the brand’s best charitable outputs. Started in 2009, the sale of the collection has helped to support Nike’s N7 Fund, which donates money in grants to Native American and Aboriginal communities, so far to the tune of $5.6 million. While this outreach to the community and especially the youth is a strong effort by Nike, the apparel and footwear collections are still highly interesting. This year, the N7 collection takes inspiration from the sky and from water, particularly when the two meet or reflect off of each other. With this in mind, the collection prominently features an indigo-dyed pattern made to look like water or clouds. For the Air Max 1 from the collection, this fabric covers the lower layer as well as the ankle collar, while the rest of the shoe comes in a crisp white tone. Finally, the N7 Air Max 1 is completed by a deep purple Swoosh.

Nike’s new N7 collection, including the Air Max 1, is scheduled to launch sometime in July 2018. This pair will retail for $140 and release from both Nike and select Swoosh retailers.
