Nike’s Air Max 1 is having itself a renaissance right now. The sneaker celebrated its 30th-anniversary last year, and the Swoosh has continued the party into the new year. Check out the new “Over-Branded” Air Max 1, coming soon.

Nike has spent much of this year fine-tuning their Air Max 1, reworking the shoe with new materials and designs regularly. This week, we have a first look at another new rework expected to launch soon, featuring a wild color scheme and over-branding. While it is unclear if this Air Max 1 is a limited-edition release, there is still sometime before the worldwide release to get ready for a pair.

The new Nike Air Max begins the same way that many do; with a white mesh base around the toe box and midfoot. Next, the usual central layers are built up using a Desert Sand-colored suede, giving the shoe a premium look. A single strip of black leather runs over the toe box for support, matched by a black leather heel counter. The tongue and Swooshes come in a brilliant blue tone, while a baby blue terry cloth-like material completes the construction around the collar. Finally, the new Air Max 1 is completed by extra logos added to the heel and mudguard in yellow.
