Nike Air Max 1 Iron Ore

Nike’s Air Max 1 releases continue to line up throughout the end of 2023, with this week bringing us an early look at a ‘Light Iron Ore’ pair, also adding some quilted stitching to the base layer of the upper.

The Air Max 1 will see plenty of releases over the next few months, with Nike lining up a number of special-edition pairs alongside their standard color schemes. This week, we have an early look at a new ‘Light Iron Ore’ color scheme of the retro runner, which makes some interesting material changes and adds some new details to the silhouette. The look begins with a nylon base for the upper in the pale grey tone, with stitching lines running horizontally across the shoe, giving the appearance of quilting. The mudguard and midfoot panels come in matching grey in suede and leather respectively, while Swooshes and toe box panelling come in a pale tan shade of a paper-like material, indicating possible cut-away pieces. The Air bags, outsoles, and branding come in a bright orange shade to complete the look.

Nike’s upcoming ‘Light Iron Ore’ colorway of the Air Max 1 has not been officially announced for release, though they are expected to launch sometime during the holiday 2023 season. Cast in a near tonal shade of grey with bright orange accents, pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $160.
