Though the Nike Air Max 1 never really leaves the sneaker spotlight, it is certainly enjoying an extended period of rapturous attention. Now, Nike is planning to feed the masses with a new “Electric Blue” colorway, releasing soon.

Nike is going crazy with Air Max 1 releases this year, and with good reason. Originally released in 1989, the Air Max 1 struck a chord with runners and sneaker fanatics alike due to its sleek profile and extremely comfortable fit. Since then, the silhouette has evolved endlessly, experimenting with different stylings and new materials, until finally settling into the now-coveted “Anniversary” iteration from 2017. This month, the coveted new version has surfaced in a new “Electric Blue” colorway expected to release soon. The look begins with a plain white tone across the mesh base and most of the supportive overlays. The vibrant blue tone comes into play along the Swoosh and mudguard, giving this Air Max 1 a unique look.
