Nike’s Air Max 1 has surfaced in a number of new styles for its thirty-fifth anniversary. This week, the classic runner has surfaced in a new duck-themed look, dressed in a ‘Pecan’ brown color scheme.

The Nike Air Max 1 was a technological marvel when it was first introduced in 1987. Featuring a visible Air bag underfoot, the silhouette was the very first model to show you Nike’s famous cushioning material at work. In the thirty-five years since its debut, the AM1 has become immensely popular as a lifestyle model, amassing a rabid following with every new release. This year, celebrating the shoe’s anniversary, Nike has already released a number of new styles with plenty more on the way. Today we have our first look at a new duck-themed Air Max 1, and no, they are not related to the Kasina collaboration from earlier this Summer. Seen here in a ‘Pecan’ colorway, the new look features a dark brown underlay, medium brown mid layers, and a light tan mudguard that wraps around the entirety of the shoe. Yellow Swooshes, laces, and outsoles complete the palette, while an embroidered yellow duck on the heel finishes the look.
