Nike’s Air Max 1 will be readily available for the foreseeable future, with the Swoosh refreshing the iconic model in plenty of new colorways. This week, we have an early look at a ‘Dark Team Red’ style, slated for Spring 2024.
Air Max 1s are finally available en masse, after reappearing in Nike’s current arsenal back in 2020. The Swoosh slowly rolled out some of the silhouette’s iconic colorways in its Anniversary edition initially, before moving on to introduce a wave of in-line styles that have remained a staple of their release calendar ever since. This season, Nike introduced a new color blocking for the AM1, which debuted in the form of the ‘Medium Olive‘ style. Now, a ‘Dark Team Red’ look has surfaced, expected to arrive in Spring 2024. The look begins with a white mesh base layer, with a very light grey suede overlay for the midfoot panels. The dark red shade is added to the shoe’s inner linings, as well as the wraparound mudguard. Black Swooshes and outsoles complete the look.
