Nike continues to present fresh colorways of their iconic Air Max 1 for this year, with the latest taking on another black-based ‘Anthracite’ look, adding red accents for an aggressive new style.
Nike has been on a roll with their Air Max 1 this year. Back in March, the Swoosh debuted a new ’86 variant, reviving the shoe’s original massive Air bubble. Since then, they’ve continued to release the classic version of the silhouette we know so well, adding new styles like this ‘Anthracite’ version which will debut during the Holiday season. The pair features an Anthracite black mesh underlay, with flat black suede overlays on top. The Swooshes match the lighter hade of black, while red hits are added for the Air bubbles and branding. The toes feature an embroidered mini Swoosh, though its color to vary between red and grey in their official photos.
