The Nike Air Max 1 Anniversary is set to make a return in 2020. After doing dormant in the wake of its 30th-anniversary celebration, the legendary running sneaker is back this month in two new colorways, including this exciting new “Magma Orange” look.

The Nike Air Max 1 Anniversary was a monster hit when it debuted in 2016. The silhouette was the closest recreation to the original pairs we have even seen from Nike, rebuilt from the ground up to mimic the shape and feel of the original. Since then, the Anniversary edition has been hard to come by, due to skyrocketing aftermarket prices and high demand. Luckily, Nike has more on the way, like this brand new “Magma Orange” color scheme rumored to hit retail shelves later this month. Following the Air Max 1’s original color blocking, this pair begins with a white mesh base layer, reinforced by light grey overlays along the quarter panels and heel sections. The “Magma Orange” hits come in the form of the AM1’s suede layers along the mudguard, as well as the Swoosh, lace loops, and Nike Air branding.
