Nike’s remastered Air Huarache has been a hit amongst longtime fans of the silhouette, with the Swoosh dropping plenty of colorways to go around. Now, we have an early look at a women’s exclusive “Sunset” color scheme, coming soon.

Nike’s Air Huarache running shoe first debuted in 1991, designed by the legend himself, Tinker Hatfield. The Huarache was a marvel in footwear engineering in ’91, due largely to the neoprene inner bootie that clung to your foot like the slalom water ski it was directly inspired by. Built for performance and comfort over distances, the Huarache’s form-fitting wearability and stability thanks to its numerous overlays quickly transitioned the silhouette from a performance masterpiece to a beloved lifestyle essential, the most common form for the retro silhouette today. This week, we have an early look at a new women’s-exclusive colorway set to drop later this Summer, dressing the silo in bright “Sunset” tones across a variety of materials. The look begins with an orange suede toe box reinforced by a white leather mudguard. The Huarache’s neoprene lining is split between orange for the midfoot and yellow for the collar and tongue, while deep maroon accents adorn the tongue branding and signature heel clip.
