Nike’s Air Huarache remaster has been making the rounds since it first launched early in 2021. This week, we have our first look at a basic new color scheme, casting the Huarache in simple “Steel” grey.

Nike’s thirtieth-anniversary celebration for the Air Huarache appears to be stretching into 2022, as evidenced by a number of new colorways still on the horizon. Remastered to mimic the original 1991 run of Huaraches as closely as possible, Nike has been pumping out fresh colorways of the vintage runner all year long, with plenty still waiting to be deployed in the new year. Today, the classic silhouette appeared in a new “Steel” grey color scheme, casting the vintage runner in a simple new in-line look. This pair mixes shades of grey across the mesh and leather upper, while a black and orange heel counter completes the look.
