Nike’s thirtieth-anniversary celebration for the Air Huarache appears to be stretching into 2022, as evidenced by a number of new colorways still on the horizon. Remastered to mimic the original 1991 run of Huaraches as closely as possible, Nike has been pumping out fresh colorways of the vintage runner all year long, with plenty still waiting to be deployed in the new year. Today, we have an early look at what has been dubbed the “Metro Blue” colorway, which pits the classic Huarache in a nearly all-whit upper, save for striking royal blue neoprene sections, and a black heel counter.

Nike’s latest colorway of the remastered Air Huarache, the simple “Metro Blue” colorway, has not yet been announced for release, though we are expecting a drop sometime in Spring 2022. The in-line color scheme will be available from both Nike and select retailers, with the usual price tag of $120. UPDATE 6/6/22: Nike has finally slated the Metro Blue Air Huarache for release this week, dropping on June 9th, 2022. Pairs will be available via the SNKRS app and select retailers for $120.
