Nike’s thirtieth-anniversary celebration of the Air Huarache is well underway by now, with a number of the silhouette’s original color schemes on shelves worldwide. Now, Nike is beginning to unleash its arsenal of fresh new colorways they’ve been working on for the past few years, the latest of which takes some surprising inspiration from sneakers past. This week, we got an early look at a new “Concord Purple” edition that is likely to launch sometime in the near future. This pair begins with split neoprene colors, featuring the namesake purple tone for the toe box and a brighter Team Orange for the quarter sections and heels. The shoe’s tongue portions come dressed in black, while a purple leather eyestay completes the new look.
