Nike’s Athletic Club continues to add new models to its expanding ranks, in this case a fresh colorway of the Air Huarache. Featuring premium materials and a smooth blue color, the remastered Huarache is coming soon.
Nike’s in-line collections grow increasingly interesting as the brand further pushes the boundaries of what they’re willing to do to elevate a standard-issue sneaker. The last few weeks have been filled with first looks at a new set of shoes called the “Athletic Club” collection, which appears to pay homage to old-school sports clubs through a series of classic Nike sneakers in eye-catching colorways. This week, the Air Huarache joins the Athletic Club ranks, taking on a clean “Freshwater Blue” color scheme for the occasion. This version of the Huarache adds a full leather toe box in white, before layering the electric blue leather mudguard and eye stay as well as a dark teal heel counter.

Nike’s latest addition to the upcoming “Athletic Club” collection, the Air Huarache, has not been announced for release, though we expect them to arrive sometime early in 2022. The smooth blue color scheme will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers, with the usual price of $120.
