Nike continues to amass special=edition colorways of some of their most popular silhouettes for upcoming collections. This week, we have our first look at a black pair of the Air Huarache, which joins the geometry-inspired “3D Swoosh” project, coming soon.

Nike has spent much of their efforts celebrating their most famous sneakers in the past few years, occasionally grouping them all together through a common color scheme, and uniting them under a theme. Over the past few weeks, we have noticed one of these new collections beginning to grow, in the form of the “3D Swoosh”, a heavily stylized version of Nike’s logo that presents the Swoosh like a 3D wireframe. Other elements of the shoes include a grid pattern on certain overlays, and a largely black color scheme with flashes of bright orange accents. While there is no official word from Nike on the project, we have assumed it is geometry-inspired, as the same 3D Swoosh logo appears on several other sneakers in the collection, particularly the fan-favorite Dunk Low.
