Originally introduced in 1998, the Nike Air Ghost Racer returns in a Cool Grey color scheme. Set to release in a new colorway, the silhouette makes a return in the midst of the ‘dad-shoe’ craze.
Fans of retro models will be ecstatic to see the Air Ghost Racer hit the market again. Presented as a versatile running model, the silhouette dons a simplistic design. Despite its 20 year lifespan, the model seems to be as relevant than ever. A true testament to Nike’s forwards thinking designs, the model stands the test of time and fits right in today’s market.
While recent models under the ‘dad shoe’ umbrella have presented vibrant and colorful designs the Air Ghost Racer stays true to its roots. Composed of an overall Cool Grey color, the model boasts the typical color choice of any dad. Although the sneakers dons a minimalistic color approach, the design is far from simple. Its upper consists of mesh material with suede overlays to create a contrast between the two materials. A plastic mid foot cage is present to give an additional supporting feature to the already comfortable sneaker. Black swooshes are placed onto the lateral sides of the Air Ghost Racer to complete the dark-toned design.
