Nike Air technology has come a long way since it first debuted on the Nike Tailwind in 1978. The technology took off, with runners all over the globe obsessing over the ultra comfortable running shoes. Since then, the Nike Air bag inside has taken on many new shapes and sizes in the years since. The latest addition to the Air Bag line is the new 270 bag. The tallest Nike Air unit yet, sneakerheads have taken a liking to the new look due to its comfort. While the new shape was designed for the Air Max 270, the Air Force franchise has taken over the technology with its own unique look. The heavily-layered upper will take on a new “Royal Purple” color scheme next month, decking out the entire shoe in a rich tone. Even the large 270 Airbag takes on the luxurious color, while the rest of the midsole comes in white.
