Nike’s Air Force 1 has had plenty of different versions over the years, but some of the best are the enhanced pairs for inclement weather. This year, the waterproof Pro tech version is making a comeback, with a new “Sequoia” dark green shade coming soon.
Summer is almost over and the seasons are changing, meaning its almost time to break out your best waterproof clothing and sneakers. Nike has us covered with plenty of new options for the Winter, from Gore-Tex enhanced versions of classics to lesser known variants of some of their classics like the Air Force 1 Pro Tech. The model debuted last year, and makes some noticeable changes to the classic Uptown.
The goal of Nike’s Pro Tech AF1 was to make a highly functional version of the silhouette without changing too much. The shoe’s upper features a single-piece construction, to eliminate as many gaps to the outside as possible, as well as adding a waterproof layer to keep your feet dry in all conditions. The first pair for this year’s releases comes in a monotone “Sequoia” green shade.
