The N7 project from Nike is gearing up for its annual release this month, reimagining iconic Swoosh sneakers with colors, materials, and construction methods inspired by Native American art, design, and culture. This week, the Air Force 1 has joined the project, featuring a gradient color scheme.

The Nike N7 project originated back in 2007, with Nike’s release of the Air Native. The project built a whole new silhouette designed for Native Americans, and would reimagine other iconic Swoosh silhouettes with designs inspired by their culture in the near two decades ever since. This year’s collection so far includes a pair of the Air Max 1, which is now joined by the Air Force 1 in a matching color scheme. The pair features a gradient color change across its canvas base layer, starting in yellow and orange at the toes and fading to light blue at the midfoot to mimic a sunrise. Suede overlays are added in a sesame white shade, and are joined by suede black Swooshes stitched around the exterior to complete the look.

Nike’s annual N7 collection is set to release later this month, on June 21st, 2024. The project, which celebrates Native American culture and art through special sneaker styles, includes the Air Max 1 and Air Force 1, both of which will be available through the SNKRS app and select retailers.
