Nike’s Air Force 1 Mid is gearing up for a comeback in 2022, with several high-profile projects, including a collaboration with Stüssy in the pipeline. Today, we have an early look at a new “Star Power” look, which adds tiny star-shaped perforations, coming soon.

The Nike Air Force family has been on fire in recent years, with the Air Force 1 Low dominating release calendars for over two years. With the retro basketball shoe turning forty years old in 2022, the brand has prepared some special releases for the storied sneaker, even reviving the AF1 Mid for the occasion. With retros of the “Independence Day” pair amongst others on the way, we are looking forward to some of the new styles the Swoosh are cooking up. This week, that comes in the form of the AF1 Mid “Star Power”, which casts the silhouette in a pure grey upper with star-shaped perforations covering the base layer.
