Nike’s Air Force 1 Mid has launched in a wide range of styles this year, but the recent emergence of this ‘Pearl White’ colorway has our interest. Featuring a tear-away upper revealing a hidden ‘Georgetown’ look, this pair is expected to launch soon.

The Nike Air Force 1 has been celebrating a whopping forty years of history this year, celebrating through rereleases of classic colorways and wave upon wave of new styles to flesh out the Swoosh’s arsenal. Among the releases have been all three low, mid, and high-top variations, though the Mid has likely seen the least amount of attention from the brand. However, the new ‘Pearl White’ look that emerged this week gives us an early look at a special new pair coming soon. The look features an off-white canvas upper with star-shaped stitching lines covering the base layer, though these portions tear away to reveal a second ‘Georgetown’ color scheme underneath. The base layers of the shoe come in the signature muted grey tone, with navy blue overlays foe the forefoot, heels, and Swooshes. The midsole shows signs of the hidden layer underneath, cast in cream rubber with a grey outsole and navy blue Air branding.

Nike’s upcoming release of the ‘Pearl White’ Air Force 1 Mid, featuring a second layer in a ‘Georgetown’ color underneath, has not been announced for release yet. The tear-away version of the AF1 will be available from both Nike’s SNKRS app and select retailers, likely with a price tag of $160 or more.
