As one of Nike’s most recognizable models, the Air Force 1 Low has become an icon amongst sneakers. Now, the Swoosh brand looks to add a fresh new take to a historic model.

While the Air Force 1 has seen countless iterations and colorways, the latest Vandalized interpretation takes it a step above. Combining the aesthetics of recent Nike projects–looking at you,  Virgil Abloh–the Air Force 1 Low Vandalized borrows cues from those designs. As part of Nike’s Vandalized capsule, the latest iteration boasts influences from 80’s and 90’s designs.

Although the above pair features a much subtler look than its predecessor, the design is still as unique as ever. Composed of an overall Sail colorway, its upper and midsole blend into one with a Gum sole to accentuate the color. The most obvious of features is the reconstructed look it presents; an off balanced Swoosh sits on its lateral sides accompanied by inverted tongue tags and reverse color blocks. A modern take on a classic model, the latest Nike Air Force 1 Low Vandalized reimagines its history.
