While baseball season is back and going full force, Nike will be releasing a Ken Griffey Jr. and Sr. collection which will call for an Air Force 1 Low decked out in special baseball themes.
One of if not the best father and son duos in all of sports will be honored on a new collection by Nike. While we’ve seen the Air Griffey Max 1 being brought out of the vault more recently, it looks like the baseball theme will be a huge collection this summer which will include this Air Force 1 Low. Featuring the usual white leather design, the upper features multiple baseball and Griffey themes with “24”, “30” “JR”, and “SR” being included on an individual pair dedicating the left to The Kid and the right to his father. To further the design, baseball stitching is used on the heels while the Mariners 1990 and 1991 Blue and Gold is included on the sneaker in a variety of different portions as a nod to the two seasons the father-son duo played on the same team.
