Nike is all in on the Air Force 1’s fortieth anniversary this year, releasing fresh styles by the dozen. This week, the classic low-top version emerged in a new ‘Sand’ makeup, coming soon.

Nike’s Air Force releases have been full throttle in the last two years, but we never tire of seeing what the Swoosh will come up with next for the beloved model. Celebrating forty years of the court classic, the AF1 has dropped in retro and new colors all year long, with plenty more in the pipeline for the rest of the year. This week, we have an early look at a new premium style coming soon, which rebuilds the beloved model with a smooth suede upper and tumbled leather accents. The base layers of the shoe are uniform, taking on a sand-like tone that Nike will likely have a more exciting name for in the near future. The outer toes are adorned with embroidered mini Swooshes, while the full-size versions are added in cream tumbled leather. The heel counters and tongue labels come in vachetta tan leather to complete the look.
