Ahead of the likely canceled annual Puerto Rico Parade in New York City, Nike has a special Air Force 1 Low to commemorate the event.

A fan-favorite when originally released previously, a Purto Rico theme returns to the Air Force 1 Low. In 2020, the design has taken a few changes to the originals that provide a new look that many fans will still love. Swapping out the navy Nike Swooshes for tonal white and the red sockliner to navy, the minor changes makes a huge difference in the final product. A white leather upper featuring a Puerto Rican flag on the heel solidifies the meaning while a white midsole and navy outsole complete the special colorway.

A release date has been scheduled and you can expect the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Puerto Rico” to release next month on June 26th, 2020 at select retailers and Nike.com for likely a slightly elevated retail price from the usual $110. Check out detailed images of the pair below and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for updates on the release, official images, launch links, and more sneaker news from your favorite brands.

UPDATE: Nike has officially cancelled the release of the recent Puerto Rico Air Force 1 due to a printing error with the flag on the tongue (appears backwards). According to a spokesperson, “Nike is removing the shoe from the marketplace, as it was intended to be a re-release of the Air Force 1 Low Puerto Rico from 2000 and the final product does not accurately reflect the original design.” You can check prices on StockX here.
