Ahead of the likely canceled annual Puerto Rico Parade in New York City, Nike has a special Air Force 1 Low to commemorate the event.

A fan-favorite when originally released previously, a Purto Rico theme returns to the Air Force 1 Low. In 2020, the design has taken a few changes to the originals that provide a new look that many fans will still love. Swapping out the navy Nike Swooshes for tonal white and the red sockliner to navy, the minor changes makes a huge difference in the final product. A white leather upper featuring a Puerto Rican flag on the heel solidifies the meaning while a white midsole and navy outsole complete the special colorway.

NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW “PUERTO RICO” RELEASE INFORMATION

A release date has been scheduled and you can expect the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Puerto Rico” to release next month on June 26th, 2020 at select retailers and Nike.com for likely a slightly elevated retail price from the usual $110. UPDATE: Nike has officially cancelled the release of the recent Puerto Rico Air Force 1 due to a printing error with the flag on the tongue (appears backwards). According to a spokesperson, “Nike is removing the shoe from the marketplace, as it was intended to be a re-release of the Air Force 1 Low Puerto Rico from 2000 and the final product does not accurately reflect the original design.” You can check prices on StockX here.
