Nike is working on a new ‘Plaid’ collection for the Fall/Winter season, lining up new silhouettes over the past few weeks. Today, the Air Force 1 Low joins the project, featuring green plaid heels and premium materials.

Nike has been doing a killer job in recent years of uniting some of their historic silhouettes under matching themes. This month, we’ve seen a number of new plaid-clad silhouettes stacking up, signaling an impending collection of Dunks, Blazers, and more with the famous print material. This week, a second version of the Air Force 1 Low has joined the pack, decorating the silhouette with a unique ‘Green Plaid’ print. The look begins with a cream white leather forefoot and midfoot, while black Swooshes, inner lining, and tongue labels add some more depth to the palette. The heel overlays come in the namesake green plaid material, using a Scottish tartan pattern in green, red, and black. Finally, a gum rubber outsole completes the new look.
