We’ve seen some wild new iterations of the Nike Air Force 1 in celebration of the shoe’s anniversary this year. Today, we have an early look at a new shaggy green suede ‘Grass’ colorway, coming soon.

Nike’s Air Force 1 sneaker has been out in, well, force, this year, celebrating an incredible forty years of the fan-favorite basketball shoe. Having long moved away from the court and into the streets, the AF1 has seen plenty of different iterations and upgrades over the years, and Nike still has some interesting takes up their sleeve for the coming months. This week, we got an early look at a new pair constructed from some vastly different materials from your typical Air Force shoe. While the official photos seen here show the model’s PS sizing, we are hoping for adult sizes to land along side. The new ‘Grass’-like look features a super shaggy suede in vibrant green covering the toes and heel sections of the silhouette, with a multicolor felt-like material making up the quarter panels. The Swooshes come in black corduroy, while purple laces and a bold orange outsole complete the look.

Nike’s shaggy suede version of the Air Force 1 Low has not yet been given a release date, though we expect to see them launch sometime in 2022. Seen here in PS sizing, we hope that they arrive in a wide range of sizes, and will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers. Check out the official images below for a better look, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more AF1 release news.
