The Nike Air Force 1 is one of the most popular sneakers for customizers to use as a blank canvas. Now, Nike is turning the idea on its head, giving you the chance to customize your own Air Force 1 with fully removable velcro panels, coming soon.

Nike’s Air Force 1 has been the canvas for some of the Swoosh’s most exciting projects since its introduction in 1982. Still a staple of the brand’s lifestyle offerings the AF1 has also become an essential piece of the custom sneaker world, acting as the number-one go-to canvas for special one-of-one themed customs or colorways. Now, Nike is giving you the tools to create your own unique Air Force 1, and to keep changing it to your liking. Titled the Air Force 1/1, this new version turns every one of the shoe’s panels into a removable velcro overlay. The customizable pair features a bright red velcro base layer, while you choose between a set of black or white panels to color block to your liking.
