Nike’s slipper version of the Air Force 1, the Lover XX first made its debut in 2018 during the brand’s push to bring more classic sneakers in women’s sizing. Now, the mule AF1 is back, in three new suede colorways for the Premium edition.
Back in 2018, Nike designed a new wave of styles for the Air Force 1 specifically with women’s styling in mind, reimagining the silhouette in a number of different iterations. Among them was the Lover XX, a slimmed down version of the classic 1982 basketball shoe, with the heels and lacing system removed to create a slip-on mule silhouette. Now, four years later, the Swoosh has a fresh batch of pairs available for the masses. Available now, the new release features three colorways of the modified Air Force, reconstructed with suede uppers for extra comfort. Your choice of off-white, black, or cinder orange are on the Nike website, with sizing up to a women’s 12, or men’s 10.5
