Nike’s Air Force silhouette is celebrating its fortieth anniversary this year, and the Swoosh is bringing back some of our favorite iterations for the occasion. This week, we caught our first look at the Jelly Air Force 1 Jelly dropping in ‘Pale Vanilla’ soon.

Nike has released dozens, if not hundreds of different iterations of the Air Force 1 since the shoes launch in 1982, switching out materials, branding, and trying out new panelling. Some of these changes stick, and some don’t, though we are likely to see a number of them pop up for the shoe’s fortieth anniversary this year. One of those returning if the Air Force 1 Low Jelly, a fan-favorite model that swaps out the usual pattern-cut Swoosh for a semi-translucent ‘gel’ alternative. This week, a new colorway has joined Nike’s upcoming releases, casting the AF1 Jelly in a soft ‘Vanilla’ color scheme. The new look begins with a crisp white leather upper, with a yellowed midsole. The Jelly Swoosh comes in a similar aged yellow tone, while off-white hues dress the inner lining and heel counters.
