Nike is celebrating their legendary Air Force 1 this year, marking forty years of one of the brand’s most recognizable shoes. This week, the classic ‘Columbia Blue’ colorway of the AF1 high has resurfaced, coming soon.

The history of the Nike Air Force 1 should not be anything new to even the most novice sneakerhead. Originally released in 1982, the basketball-turned-lifestyle model is one of the most popular shoes on earth, thanks to its timeless look and endless color and material options. So, with the Swoosh celebrating forty years of Air Force this year, it’s only right they recreate the AF1’s original release in all of its glory. This week, the high-cut version of the Air Force surfaced in a new retro release, decking out the silhouette in an original ‘Columbia Blue’ color scheme. The look starts with a white leather base, adding the signature blue tone to the Swooshes, strap, inner lining, and outsole, while an aged sail-toned midsole rounds out the look.
