Nike’s penchant for turning their fan-favorite sneakers into winter boots brings some fun new releases this year. Today, we have an early look at a new boot-cut version of the Air Force 1 High, coming soon.

The Nike Air Force 1 has been offered by the Swoosh in dozens of iterations over the years, a fan-favorite of which has always been the more rugged boot-like options. Luckily for us, Nike is diving headfirst into the boot style this season, transforming the classic Air Force 1 High into an outdoor-ready, military-inspired high-cut boot for the cold and rainy months. While very little information regarding this new style has surfaced, we do have a good look at an oily green color scheme expected to drop sometime in the coming weeks. This pair begins with a solid green leather construction for the upper, taking on the inky green shade from heel to toe, while a rubberized black Swoosh adorns either side of the shoe. The Air Force’s signature ankle strap has been revised to add more weight, while the midsole has also been upgraded for more heavy duty adventures.
