The Air Force 1 Flyknit is back. After seemingly disappearing immediately after its debut in 2019, the second version of the beloved knit Air Force is back, this time sporting recycled materials to join the Swoosh’s growing “Crater” collection.

Nike’s Air Force 1 has been a mainstay in the brand’s lineup over the past several years, beloved for its classic look and constantly changing colorways. This week, the Swoosh showed off a new colorway of its Air Force 1 Flyknit 2.0, a silhouette that has stayed out of the spotlight since its introduction back in the early months of 2019. The second version of the legendary Nike sneaker outfits the AF1 with a new knit pattern for the upper, while this “Crater” iteration ensures that the threads used are at least partially made from recycled materials, if not in entirety. The midsole sports Nike’s new Crater Foam rubber that mixes ground-up midsoles with Nike Grind rubber, and a rainbow color scheme rounds out the new design.
