Southern California basketball has arguably never been better. This offseson both teams put together a great squad and the rivalry has been restored to full strength. Nike adds on to the rivalry as the Air Force 1 looks to take on “Clippers” and “Lakers” colorways to give fans the opportunity to show their team pride.

The rivalry is back and has never been stronger. Last off-season, the Lakers pulled off the mega-pick up to land Lebron James in purple and gold and this year they added more to their already strong arsenal with NBA star Anthony Davis. The Clippers did not back down though as they brought in So-Cal natives Kawhi Leonard and Paul George to revamp their team and start a brand new look and era. Both teams have gotten their stars and are ready to claim their So-Cal dominance on October 22nd when they are scheduled to tip-off on one another.

Likely preparing for the NBA season as well as one of the most hyped games of the year, Nike will be releasing an Air Force 1 High in both respected teams colors. Both arrive in the classic white leather we all have learned to love while a nylon overlay is added in on the heel in either purple or blue. The Nike Swoosh offers a split look in which the piece that overlaps on the nylon overlay appears in white while the other half is either in gold or red. Overall, two great renditions of the classic Nike Air Force 1 that all Southern Californian basketball fans will love.
