Nike Rehashes the Air Force 1 “Bling” for 2025

Nike issues a lot of retros every year, either giving us a new take on a classic model or rereleasing iconic colorways. This week, the 2020 Air Force 1 “Bling” has surprisingly popped up again, with some slight tweaks to the original design.

Nike is no stranger to jeweled elements on their sneakers, particularly when it comes to the Air Force 1. The iconic silhouette was the first model from the brand to feature their Jewel Swoosh, which embedded crystal-like colors stones into the sides of the shoe. Originally from 1997, the pair has been revamped and iterated upon in recent years.

In 2020, Nike released the “Bling” style of the Air Force 1, which delivered a premium edition of the classic shoe with a selection of jeweled elements added to the laces. Now, it appears they are running that model back, with a release almost identical to the original from five years ago. This pair still comes in white, with Sail-toned midsoles and tongues, though they appear to have made this shade a bit more prominent for this go around.

Nike’s upcoming release of the Air Force 1 “Bling” edition does not have a release date yet, but is expected to land sometime in Spring 2025. Dressed in white and off-white like its predecessor and complete with the jeweled lace adornments, pairs will be available from Nike and select retailers.
