The Air Force 1 has had a strong few years since its fortieth anniversary celebration back in 2022. The classic model has remained a staple of the Nike offerings for decades, and adds a new “Arctic Orange” look to its catalog this month.
Nike has leaned into releasing classic shoes with similar color stories in recent years, aggregating some of their iconic styles into small collections that are joined by one or two main color tones and materials. Earlier this week, we had a look at a new pair of the Dunk Low in a combination of pale “Arctic Orange” and “Glacier Blue” shades. Now, the Air Force 1 has joined it in a matching look.
The Air Force 1’s version of the “Arctic Orange” palette is a bit different from its Dunk counterpart. The shoe’s leather base layer comes in a sail white shade, instead adding the pale orange tone to its suede overlays. The blue tone that is prominent on the Dunk is instead reserved for the heel counters here, while jet black Swooshes and a gum outsole complete the look.
