Nike Air Footscape Woven Nai-Ke FV3615-191

Nike’s “Nai-Ke” project nods to the brand’s first batch of shoes made in China decades ago. This week, the Air Footscape Woven has surfaced as a part of the series, coming next year.

Last year Nike introduced the Nai-Ke series, a project inspired by the brand’s arrival across Asia over thirty years ago. The first batch came in early 2022, and marked forty years of manufacturing in China, recalling the original material and color samples they ordered in the 1980s. Now, the project has evolved, adding more silhouettes with complex detailing like the woven Air Force 1 from this Spring. This week, the Air Footscape Woven has joined the series, sporting a smooth new color scheme. The upper’s suede pieces come in Sail white, with a muted purple leather inner lining. The woven pieces feature shades of purple, olive, and brown across the nylon segments, while a white midsole completes the palette. This pair features wooden lace ornaments with ‘Nai-Ke’ on either end, the phonetic spelling of their brand name in Chinese.
