Nike revived their Air DT Max 96 model in 2024, capitalizing on the publicity surrounding Deion Sanders as the coach of CU Boulder. The fan-favorite model has stuck around, and is now coming in a triple white look for Summer.
Nike’s signature sneaker line for Deion Sanders might be some of the Swoosh’s best work in the performance space. During his professional career, Deion played both football and baseball, and nearly every one of his player models was made to accommodate both sports. The 1996 Air DT Max, Sanders’ third silhouette, is one of their best outings, worn on both the gridiron and diamond during Deion’s time with the Cowboys and San Francisco Giants. This week we have an early look at a new pair of the 96’s low-top version coming this Summer. The look casts the aggressive silhouette in a triple white build, adding in small hints of Smoke Grey along with metallic silver for a pristine, warm weather look.

The latest colorway of Nike’s Air DT Max 96 retro does not have an official release date yet, but is penciled in for a drop sometime in July 2026. The look comes in a triple white build for the sunny season, mixing in hints of Smoke Grey and metallic silver for a clean look. Pairs will be available from Nike and select retailers for $170.
