Nike’s All Conditions Gear division had an enormous 2019, with the revival of their vintage camping aesthetic as well as a number of both new and old sneaker silhouettes. This week, that trend continues with the unveiling of the new Terra Antarktik.

Nike ACG is a staple in the winter months, offering thick outer layers of clothing and warm bottoms in addition to their anytime, anywhere approach to footwear design. While this Fall/Winter season has already seen the debut of several anti-weather-equipped ACG sneakers, there is still another yet to come: the Terra Antarktik. Launching later this week, the latest Nike All Conditions Gear is built to withstand just about anything Mother Nature can throw at you. The high-top upper begins with a layer of ripstop nylon on the outside, while the inside is lined with water-repellant Gore-Tex to keep your feet dry. The ankle features a large velcro strap on the lateral sides, allowing users to adjust the tightness of the bootie-shape and allow/restrict more or less air and water flowing into the boot. The exaggerated lacing system zig-zags back and forth across the upper, held in place by ACG-branded nylon webbing, while a thick, textured rubber outsole begins on the toecap and runs backwards, extending about halfway up the rear of the silhouette.
