New Balance continues to debut excellent new styles of their Made in USA offerings this month, helmed by designer Teddy Santis. This week, the 990v3 has surfaced in a clean ‘Moonbeam’ colorway, coming soon.
The Made in USA line has been getting a lot of attention recently, thanks in part to New Balance’s team-up with Teddy Santis, of ALD fame, which made the NYC-based designer the creative director of the product line. Focusing largely on the fan-favorite 990 series, NB and TS have cooked up an extensive batch of releases that have popped up regularly so far this year. Today, we have an early look at the ‘Moonbeam’ 990v3 Made in USA, which is gearing up to release later this week. The new style begins with a cream white mesh base layer, with a matching midfoot overlay. The toe and heel caps come in a slightly whiter shade, and are constructed from a shaggy suede material. Toe and collar midlayers come in a gunmetal grey tone, while black New Balance ‘N’ logos and tongues complete the look.
