New Balance is gearing up for the wide release of their 475 retro next week, with a trio of bright colorways. This week, their classic neutral tones have appeared on a new “Stoneware” styling, coming soon.
New Balance is in the midst of their rollout for the 475 retro, an outdoor running shoe originally released in the 1980s. However, the model has not been entirely dormant for forty years, as it served as the primary inspiration for the NB Trailbuster from a few years back. The model made its 2024 debut last month in a collaboration with Aimé Leon Dore, and is now ready to release in its first in-line colors next week in a trio of bright color schemes.
Ahead of the 475’s first release from the Boston brand, new colorways have already started to pop up, adding to our list of upcoming releases. The “Stoneware” palette seen here seems like a toned down version of one of AURALEE’s upcoming looks, sporting a classic NB neutral look. The pair features a tan underlay, adding warm and cool panels of grey suede on top, with hints of cream to complete the look.
