The PUMA RS-X has been killing it this year. Between various collaborations alongside a stellar lineup of standard colorways, PUMA is on to something with the revamped Running System. This week, NASA unveiled their special edition Puma “Space Explorer” Pack, highlighted by the RS-X.

PUMA’s collaborations have been all over the map this year, from their string of retro-inspired releases like the Motorola and MTV projects to more street-ready work like the upcoming Chinatown market collab. This week, the German sportswear giant shared a look at a new upcoming release, which sees them teaming up with NASA for a pack of out of this world footwear.

The NASA x Puma “Space Agency” pack features two incredible pieces of footwear, with the lead being taken by the brand’s current star, the RS-X. The new look begins with a pale grey tone taking over the shoe’s lightweight mesh base layers. Next, the leather overlays along the mudguard, quarter panels, and heel are painted in a shimmering silver tone, while black accents line the individual pieces. Finally, NASA adds a touch of their own color scheme through red and blue painted portions of the midsole, as well as bold NASA logos on either side.
