Nike and Matthew M. Williams’ signature sneaker was a hit when it first dropped earlier this year, but the two have remained relatively quiet since. Now, the ALYX designer lends his touch to the Nike Joyride CC3 Setter, dropping in December.

Nike and Matthew Williams are back. After the success of their jointly-developed Free TR3 earlier this year, the two have been about what’s coming next. However, now we know. Earlier this week, the ALYX designer and Nike unveiled the MMW take on the Joyride CC3 Setter, Nike’s lifestyle silhouette from their most recent new technology, Joyride. Matthew M. Williams’ take on the sleek silhouette echoes the main bootie-like shoe of his Free TR3, featuring a knit base layer reinforced with both leather and taped overlays. The project will launch in two colorways as a part of their Series 3 release, one coming in a triple black look and the second mixing grey/platinum tones with tiny hints of red.
