Nike and Matthew M. Williams’ signature sneaker was a hit when it first dropped earlier this year, but the two have remained relatively quiet since. This week, a new camo colorway of the chunky sneaker surfaced online at Alyx.
The Nike MMW Free TR3 is one of the most interesting Swoosh collaborations to release this year, thanks to the designs of Matthew M. Williams of Alyx. Alongside a collection of technical apparel, the shoes stood out thanks to their unique strap-on Vibram outsole, which can transform the shoe from a chunky hiking shape to a sleek subtle running shoe. Since the shoe made its debut back in July, fans of Alyx have been clamoring for more, and they are happy to accommodate. This week, the technical brand quietly launched a new colorway of the men’s’ Free TR3, which places a camo shroud over the upper, as well as an all-over camo print for the detachable outsole.
