LeBron James has grown his reach by owning a minor stake in the Liverpool Football Club, and now he will once again join his Nike ties to the Football club with a special Air Max 1.
Fresh off the Nike LeBron 9 Liverpool, the collaboration will continue onto the AM1. The offering features a design that’s inspired by the Liverpool Football Club kits’ in a mixture of materials thanks to a mesh and leather makeover. A white mesh upper is added to the base while a dark teal and black leather overlay system. Teal Nike Air Max logos are added to the tongues, while an infrared shade is used on the inner sock liner. The combination of colors is used once again at the sole system with a sail midsole, infrared Air unit, and dark teal outsole added underneath. To commemorate the collaboration, the Fenway Sports Group, and YNWA (You’ll Never Walk Alone) graphics are placed at the heels, while co-branded insoles and special packaging will also be in play.
