Kendrick Lamar and Nike recently announced the third installment in their line of limited Kung Fu Kenny Cortez series. Decked out in black, this new rendition might be one of the hardest to get, releasing only at limited pop-up shops.
Kendrick Lamar and Nike are a powerhouse collaborative duo. When the pair first linked up in late 2017, the first Nike Cortez for Kendrick’s new DAMN album caught everyone by surprise. Shortly after, they release an even more elusive Kung Fu Kenny Cortez during All-Star Weekend, driving up the hype for their next release, which is finally here. The next Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez is currently releasing slowly around the United States. Decked out in a black upper with a bold white Swoosh, the new colorway features the signature band across the laces, this time saying “BET IT BACK”. The additional red pull tab on the heel is a great touch, along with the DAMN lettering on the outer toe.
So far, the next Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez has released exclusively through the TDE x Nike pop-up shops in select cities. However, a recent addition to the SNKRS app tells us to keep our eyes peeled, as they may be dropping via the app as well.
