Ronnie Fieg knows how to give a timeless collection and for the 60th Anniversary of Spider-Man, Marvel has partnered with Kith for a full collection of clothing and collectibles to celebrate the past 6 decades of the hero.
Following the invasive Lucas Films collection with a capsule celebrating Star Wars, Ronnie Fieg is back with yet another timeless collection, where the designer has allowed his passions to blend into his designs. In an official statement from Kith, the brand states, “We are proud to announce our partnership with Marvel to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Spider-Man. Together we have created an experience to highlight the six decades of the iconic hero, including a collection for adults & kids, our first pop-up shop in Queens, and our very own Marvel | Kith Spider-Man Comic Book. This comic features an original storyline and artwork that fuses Kith elements with the Marvel Multiverse. Inside are cameos from some of Spider-Man’s allies and nemeses, such as Iron Man and Doctor Octopus, as well as the debut of Ronnie Fieg as a character. We’ve also intertwined some previews of upcoming unreleased Kith collections.”
While the comic is iconic in itself, there’s a whole lot more to look forward to as well. The comic will be available in two phases. The first phase is this coming Monday 7/11, where customers can purchase the comic in-store at all Kith shops. The comic will also be made available online as a gift with purchase alongside a collection of vintage Spider-Man memorabilia that has been curated to commemorate the hero’s six decades. By purchasing any of these vintage memorabilia items online, you will receive a copy of the comic with your purchase. The second release phase will be next Friday, 7/15 with the full collection. Customers who purchase any piece of men’s apparel from the collection will receive a copy of the comic, both in-store & online.
